SAILING EXPERIENCE

Whilst our Mangrove Jack motorsailers are very easy to handle, it is a requirement that at least one member of your party be able to competently sail a dinghy or manoeuvre a small cruiser.

The requirements to charter the Inspiration 1050 catamaran are more stringent. The skipper needs to be well experienced on larger boats, and after a detailed briefing the skipper must be able to show that he is capable of handling the vessel.

You must be a competent sailor to handle this vessel. After your briefing, we will assess your sailing skills and if necessary our skipper will assist you for your first day or two.

When you arrive at Sunset Harbour our yacht charter base, its just a short stroll along our private marina, and you’ll be shown aboard your yacht . When you have loaded all your supplies we will proceed with your onboard briefing. Our briefing covers everything from tidal information, the charts, safety equipment as well as radio skeds. Then you are on your way.
